The Karting Show at Autosport
International is revving up to open its doors at the NEC from 10-13 January
2008. A stand alone show within the world’s biggest motorsport show, the
Karting Show is set to attract some of the biggest names from the highest
echelons of the sport including British Formula One stars Jenson Button and
David Coulthard, not to mention the cream of UK karters.
Voice of the BTCC and talkSPORT, Alan Hyde makes a welcome return to host the Karting
Show Stage, live throughout all four days at the premier Birmingham venue. A host of stars are already
lined up, to help encourage more people into karting, alongside an impressive
gathering of 2007 karting champions.
In previous years the stage has not
only hosted karting stars of all ages, but also a plethora of international
motorsport celebrities enjoying the relaxed and informal atmosphere while
adding a great deal of banter to the proceedings.
Honda Racing F1 team star Button will be welcomed
to the Karting Stage on Saturday alongside Red Bull Racing’s David
Coulthard and Mark Webber. Triple WTCC Champion Andy Priaulx, 2007 American Le Mans Series Champion Allan
McNish, British fans’ Formula One favourite Johnny Herbert, and
ITVF1’s Mark Blundell will all be appearing on Sunday.
Autosport International opens to the
public on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January, filling 10 halls of the NEC, Birmingham, to form the
world’s biggest motorsport show. Avoid the queues and book online at www.autosport-international.com
