The PistonHeads Show is
proud to announce that Mitsubishi will display all 10 versions of its legendary
Lancer Evolution at the inaugural show at the Birmingham NEC.
Fans will be able to see
for themselves how the mighty supercar slayer has evolved during its 15-year
history right up until 2007’s EVO X.
Originally designed for the
Japanese marketplace, the 4x4 2.0 turbo-charged EVO has become as
popular among road users as it has rally drivers.
Nolan O’Connor, PistonHeads
Show Group Marketing Manager, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to confirm that
Mitsubishi will be bringing the full range of EVOs to the inaugural PistonHeads
Show.
“It is going to be a real
treat for visitors who will be able to see how this beast of a machine has
developed over the past decade and a half.
“The EVO has a fearsome
reputation. Other high-performance cars which dare to take it on usually end up
running home crying to their
mummies.”

1.3million unique visitors each month, the website will be hosting its first
major show at the NEC on January 11, 12 and 13, running alongside the Autosport
International Show.
Other major exhibitors at the show include Lamborghini who will have a
stand giving sports car devotees the chance to encounter acclaimed models,
including the 6.5 litre Murcielago LP640 Roadster and the 530hp, super-light
Gallardo Superleggera.
The Italian sports car giant will also feature in the Live Action Arena
where 80 machines will take part in 50-minute shows on a purpose-built track.
There will also be celebrity guest appearances plus competitions for
spectators.
Autocar Magazine presents the exclusive Supercar Paddock and a selection
of lucky PistonHeads members will be exhibiting their cars for fellow
