Roary and Big Chris, the stars of the new smash-hit kids’ cartoon
Roary the Racing Car®, will have their own dedicated area at this weekend’s ASI show, where they can meet their
fans.
Roary is a bright, cheeky and energetic single-seater and organisers hope
his debut at Autosport International will provide the opportunity for young children to become interested in motorsport.

Set
in and around Silver Hatch race track, Roary the Racing Car™
cleverly combines CGI and stop frame animation to convey a real sense
of speed in this 52 x 10 minute pre-school series with all the thrills
and
spills of the Formula 1 race track.
The series features top UK comic Peter Kay as the voice of the mechanic Big
Chris and of the American Saloon car Tin Top and it is narrated by racing legend Sir Stirling Moss.
The
Roary area is situated in hall 20 and will have lots for little ones to
do. The life-size, talking Roary will be on hand to meet his new young
fans with Big Chris in tow to make sure his race car friend is in
tip-top
form. Roary fans can have their picture taken with their heroes, log
onto the website www.roarytheracingcar.com/, watch episodes and take part in colouring activities.
Big Chris with his spanner in hand will take a tour around the show across
the weekend.

International will be open to the public on Saturday 12 to
Sunday 13 January 2008 with trade days on Thursday 10 and Friday 11
