“Autosport has been a great show
for me,” said Grant, who performs 60 shows a year around the world. “I’ve done it every year for the last ten years or so and
I’ve developed quite a following. I always get a fantastic reaction from the crowds at Autosport!”
Grant is keeping his record attempt
strictly under wraps until the big day, but says he is confident of achieving this latest goal. “I’m going to need all my
skills!” he said. “I’ve not actually managed it in practice yet, so my first few performances will be a warm up, but I’m
sure I’ll do it!”
In
another first, Grant plans to drive
the Mitsubishi Evolution 9 on two wheels, a feat that has never been
performed in this country with that kind of car. The 400bhp 4x4 car is
equipped
with anti lag, launch control and many other modifications, including
six different diff settings that Grant can adjust while driving the
car.
Grant will be performing throughout
the weekend at the Birmingham NEC show but for a sneak preview of him changing the tyre on a moving vehicle, go to Terry Grant (YouTube
