Aussie MotoGP star to visit Campbelltown PDF Print E-mail

Suzuki's Australian MotoGP star Chris Vermeulen will make a flying visit to Campbelltown, west of Sydney, next weekend.

 

Vermeulen is set to make an appearance at the grand opening of Sydney City Motorcycles' Campbelltown store from 10am on Saturday 2 February, signing autographs and greeting fans on the store's opening day.

In his second MotoGP season, the young Queenslander shone, winning in the wet atsmc_vermeulen_appearance_img.jpg Le Mans and claiming several other podium finishes on his way to securing sixth in the 2007 MotoGP Championship.
 

Fresh from completing testing with the Suzuki MotoGP team at Malaysia's Sepang International circuit, Vermeulen will jet into Australia for testing at Victoria's Phillip Island Grand Prix track before moving on to Spain and Qatar.


 

Also making appearances at the grand opening will be Suzuki's Australian Superbike riders Shawn Giles and Craig Coxhell, along with rising off road rider Matt Moss, all appearing in store on Sunday 3 February from 11am until 2pm.
