Friday, 11 August 2006
V8 Supercar debutant and Carrera Cup powerhouse Paul Cruickshank Racing (PCR) launched their new website, www.pcrnet.com.au, today with a mix of interactive and informative features for all motor sport fans.

The brand-new, purpose built design includes a host of information and entertainment in an easy-to-use format with simple navigation that will provide fans with everything they need to know about the PCR team and the categories they race in.

"The new website is fantastic, we wanted to make sure it gave something to everybody, from the kids who look up to drivers as heroes to the media who need to access all the information at the click of a button," Team Owner Paul Cruickshank said.

The site goes live today as the full PCR squad heads south to Oran Park for the V8 Supercar and Carrera Cup championships.

While the new look PCR site contains all press releases and race reports as well as a comprehensive image gallery, the site also gives a insight into the people behind PCR and the team's history, driver profiles, championship points and results from V8's and Cup Car, sponsor information plus a great range of interactive functions.

V8 Supercar fans will be able to download a Ford BA Falcon V8 Supercar template and design the livery that they want on their car, giving them their very own personalised V8 Supercar design.

Also available now is a range of free wallpapers, enabling fans to have their favourite Glenfords Racing car appear on their desktop display.

"Other exciting interactive features are in the pipeline and will be roll them out in the coming months to keep the website fresh and interesting for the user, including an 'ask the driver' section where our PCR drivers answer your questions, and a SMS update system to keep you up to date with all the latest news between rounds and from the track," Cruickshank added.

"We have also decided to include a merchandise section for adults and children in response to the countless enquiries at events about team merchandise, so the fans will soon have the opportunity to purchase team gear and show their support in the crowd which will be great."

The PCR team head to Oran Park this weekend for round 7 of the V8 Supercar Championship and round four of the Carrera Cup.
