Jessica Brannam, a 34 time go kart champion from McHenry, IL, is scheduled to appear at the 2008 “KART EXPO INTERNATIONAL presented by SODI”. This very popular international go karting trade show is holding it's 16th edition at Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, in Schaumburg, IL.
Brannam, who has enjoyed tremendous success in karting, will have her own booth at this years show. She will be showcasing her sponsors products as well as signing autographs.
Jessica has dreams of stepping up to formula car racing. She was asked, If your heart is set on getting to formula car racing, why would you put such an effort into a go karting trade show? She replied, “All of my sponsors have been so good to me throughout my go karting years. Without them I would not have had the success I have had.” Jessica went on to say, “Having my own booth seems like a great way for me to promote all of my sponsors. It is just my way of thanking them for the years of support they have given me.”
The show is a great place for karting enthusiast to see the latest products, take in a seminar, and get advice from some of the top race teams and shops in the karting industry. The show is open to the general public Saturday February 23rd from 12-6 and Sunday February 24th from 10-4.
