15 -Year Old Jessica Brannam was honored for the third year in a row as one of the top women in all of motorsports. The honor was bestowed at the 4th Annual "Women In The Winner's Circle" Banquet at The Indianapolis Motor speedway on August 3rd prior to the NASCAR Brickyard 400.

Women In The Winner's Circle is an awards ceremony organized by The Lyn St.James Foundation. Founded in 1993, the Lyn St. James Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating increased opportunities for women in motorsports. Four years ago the organization created the Women In The Winner's Circle as a means of acknowledging those women who have excelled in the sport.

Lyn St. James is widely recognized as one of the most successful female drivers in racing history.

The banquet, held in the Pavilion Village at Indy Motor Speedway, was attended by motorsport's top industry officials including Mike Helton, President of NASCAR. With more than 300 people in attendance, Jessica Brannam took the stage with such well-known female drivers as Ashley Force, Melanie Troxel and Sarah Fisher.

Jessica Brannam will race in the competitive Formula BMW Series in 2007. Formula BMW is designed to prepare top young drivers for the step into IndyCar and Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Brannam, one of the top Kart Racers in the U.S., will race in the Formula BMW Series in 2007 as she moves her racing career onto a path which will take her ultimately into Formula 1. The Formula BMW Series is one of the top formula development series and it will see Brannam racing at such famous venues as the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and The US Grand Prix in Indianapolis.

Brannam said, " I am excited and more than ready to move into international formula racing and am looking forward to competing against drivers from around the world. I know I can do well."

Brannam completed the week of honors with a dominating victory in the Mini-Sprint Car Feature Event at Wilmot Speedway on Saturday night. The teenager won the main race by a margin of nearly half a lap !
