Barnard Castle based hotelier,
'Mad Mark' and the Jersey Farm Hotel Rallycross Team will begin the
defence of their Rallycross Open Championship title at Croft
Circuit (Darlington) on Sunday March 2nd. The team will continue with the
Division 1 specification Tony Bardy Motorsport prepared Citroen Xsara for the
2008 season, which may also see the team take in selected rounds of the European
Rallycross Championship.
'Mad Mark' commented,
"Our main aim for the season is
to retain our title in the Rallycross Open Championship. It will be a very
competitive season especially with British Champion - Ollie O'Donovan contesting
the Championship with his Peugeot 306. There should be four Champions at Croft
with Belly and Jobb , so combined with the additional TV coverage on Channel 5
and MotorsTV, the Open Championship looks set for a bumper
year".

The team has recently launched a
new initiative to allow supporters and fans to share the team success. For
£20.00 the team will display your name on the championship winning Citroen Xsara
Super car for the entire 2008 season. This is a fantastic way to become more
involved with the World of Rallycross, as well as helping a leading championship
contender regain his title.
What you well get for your £20
is:
- Your name in adhesive vinyl
displayed on our racing car size 2" x 9" maximum, in pink for girls and silver
for boys.
- A souvenir limited edition cap
to show your allegiance.
- Your name listed on the teams
web site.
- A chance to pop into the garage
at an event , see your name on the car close up and take a
photo.
To take up this fantastic
opportunity please visit the teams official website - www.madmark.co.uk
"We launched this new
initiative to bring more people into our fantastic sport of Rallycross. This
will provide people with the opportunity to enjoy the ride with Mark throughout
the 2008 Rallycross Open Championship, which will hopefully lead to a successful
title defence." added Charlotte,
the PR Officer for the Jersey Farm Hotel Rallycross
Team.
Mark is also proud to be running
on Silverstone Tyres in the 2008 Rallycross Open Championship. Mark added
"Silverstone produce a quality racing tyre and this can only help me defend
and retain the Open Championship."
The team would also like to thank
K&N Filters, LMA, Comtek, Alan Reed Limited, Corbeau, Mags Commercial
Printers, Silverstone Tyres and NGK Spark plugs for their continued
support.
