Grosjean fastest in the morning session PDF Print E-mail

The ART Grand Prix driver set the fastest lap time this morning in a 1:12.031 in the second day of 2008 GP2 Main Series test session. Due to some fog, the start of today’s session was delayed fifteen minutes, but the 26 cars still ran for 3 hours, as planned. Once again, the reliability and performance of the new GP2 car were displayed on the track of Le Castellet during this morning’s test session. After a challenging first day yesterday, Romain Grosjean set the pace this morning, closely followed by Pastor Maldonado and Adrian Valles.
The experienced Italian driver, Giorgio Pantano signed a good 1:12.241 at the wheel of his Racing Engineering car just in front of the second ART Grand Prix driver Luca Filippi. The 2007 Champions iSport International drivers finished in 6th and 7th place.

This afternoon, the session will start at 2pm local time.
