"TP Formula" will enter the Euroseries 3000 PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 01 March 2008
Even if TP Formula is a new name in car racing, there are many expectations already from this debut season. The team, based in Italy, is indeed managed by people with a long-time experience gained in several categories, from Formula Renault to Formula 3 up to Formula 3000. It was in the mid Eighties when Luciano Traini made his first appearance in car racing where he has then always been present in both national and international field. Starting from the 2000 season he began a collaboration with Gianluca Pomozzi which is now continuing in TP Formula.

Several drivers have grown up in this reality, as Jaime Melo Jr. and Mathias Lauda; the many successes obtained include an Italian F.2000 title and the conquest of the European Formula 3000 championship in 2002.

Unsurprisingly TP Formula choice was then to enter the Euroseries 3000, where they will line up two cars. This commitment will go together with the development of the new CN Corbari BB-01 which will debut in the Italian Prototypes Championship.

Luciano Traini: "We are taking up this challenge with great enthusiasm and motivation
and thanks to the strong experience we have gained over the years, we believe that our team will be competitive from the very beginning"

Gianluca Pomozzi: "We have worked hard during the winter in order to organize
everything at the top and so I’m sure that the upcoming season will be very rewarding. We are now considering several drivers and will soon communicate the line up "

TP Formula will then be on track on March 10th and 11th at Vallelunga for the first Euroseries 3000 official test.
