Simon, incidentally, will be the first driver to use the new water cooled engine in Legends in the season opener at Brands Hatch. His new Karcher team mate, Stephen Treherne, will also be in action at Brands Hatch but using an air cooled engine.

The Kent venue is the spiritual home of Legends Cars racing in the UK as our first race was held there back in March 1996.The current lap record around the Indy circuit is held by Dave Newsham and stands at 56.178 seconds (78.57mph).Dave set the record on his first visit toBrands in July 2005.
