Imagine the scene…
You’re about to take part in a race. And you can choose which car you’re
going to compete in. One, is a thoroughbred
racer capable of speeds of over 200 mph, the other is an old Austin Allegro
that can wheeze up to about 80 mph (if you’re lucky).
And just imagine that both cars cost roughly the same money….
Which would you pick?
Of course any sane person would go for the purpose-built,
high-performance model. Judging quite rightly that you need to go for the vehicle
with the best engineering and superior speed capability in order to win…
This approach applies to all aspects of motor racing.
When faced with a choice, any seriously competitive person would pick the
product that’s going to give them the best chance of victory. You can see it in
Lewis’ McLaren – everything is designed to deliver optimum performance.
And this should apply to karting. Any kart racer would
be the opposite of sensible if they didn’t
consider buying an Iztech kart seat.
Take their IZ3 – believed to be the lightest RTM* seat ever produced for karting.
It’s a given fact, that lighter means faster. And if,
at just 650 grams the IZ3 is a THIRD of the weight of an average RTM kart seat
(which normally weighs around 1.6 kilos) –why on earth are you buying any other
product if you want to win?
The IZ3 uses an injection-moulded carbon/Kevlar mix
called Aramid, which makes it not only ultra-light and comfortable, but also
very strong. Each seat comes with a flat bottom, enabling it to be mounted
lower in the chassis - lowering the driver’s centre of gravity, whilst keeping
them in the upright driving position.
So, if you’re more Hamilton that Mr. Tompkins at number 23 - do
the sensible thing, buy an Iztech IZ3.
