Clucas and Green set for Bicknell debut |

Ben Clucas and Rachel Green are set to make their VdeV debuts in the all-new
Bicknell PS7 at Donington Park on the 12/13th of April.
“The deal has
come together pretty late in the day” said Rob Bicknell, the cars constructor.
”We’re delighted to get Ben and Rachel in the car. We all know Ben’s ability and
Rachel has adapted to high down force cars extremely well.”
Their first test was at Snetterton last week, which went very well, the times
would have put the car on the front row in last years race and that was in heavy
traffic.
"It was great to get some laps in the car and really good fun.”
Said Ben
“Overall I was very happy with our times. It’s difficult to be sure
due to the amount of traffic and the fact that we really didn't get a single
clear lap, but the car was good from the start and we were able to make small
improvements through the day. I'm certainly hoping we'll be competitive at
Donington and I’m really looking forward to it."
“I wasn’t sure what to
expect as I’ve never had to contend with downforce before, but what a car.” said
Rachel.” It was great having Ben’s knowledge of such driving style to learn from
and the team were very supportive. I’m excited about the challenge of a three
hour race and hope to do the car and the team proud.”
They now head to
Donington to test before the opening round of VdeV UK this weekend
