SA Dirt Bikes Dealer Principal Linden Forbes has got up close and personal with
the V8 Supercar Championship Series thanks to Leatt Brace’s Australian
Distributor Autofocus Marketing.
Forbes won a Leatt Brace sales promotion after increasing his sales by more than
170% over the promotional period.
Known as ‘the helmet for your neck’
Leatt Brace is a neck protection system developed for off-road motorcycle riding
and race car competition. The motorcycle version can be used for mini-bikes
though to adult riding. The car version has options for speedway, circuit racing
and rallying.
The Gepps Cross motorcycle dealer was special guest of
Jason Bright’s Britek Motorsport team at the recent fourth round of the V8
Supercar Championship Series at Perth’s Barbagallo Raceway.
The prize
included flights, accommodation, transfers, meals, VIP corporate passes in the
Ford Blue Oval Club, full access to the race team, pre-race grid access and his
logo was placed on Bright’s V8 Supercar.
Forbes was thrilled with the
weekend.
“I was like a kid in a candy store,” said Forbes.
“Everyone from Autofocus, Ford and Britek were outstanding - It was
gold.
“Money can’t buy this kind of experience! From the chauffer
waiting for me at the airport, to the first class hospitality in the Ford Blue
Oval Club, the weekend was unbelievable.
“I had the best spot to watch
the racing and a headset to listen to the drivers. Imagine sitting in
conversations and eating lunch with the drivers, something that most of us could
only dream about.
“The biggest thrill was getting to stand on the
starting grid next to Jason Bright’s car. Experiencing the excitement of hearing
them warm it up, it’s enough to give a grown man goose bumps!
“The whole
experience was truly professional and that’s a reflection on how Autofocus do
their business. Great products, great service and great advice - this all adds
up to a very strong business relationship which is of enormous benefit to SA
Dirt Bikes.”
Sales and Marketing Director of Autofocus Marketing David
Ridden was delighted with the Leatt Brace promotion and the weekend with Forbes.
“We have over 250 dealers across the country and we had an excellent
response to the promotion,” said Ridden.
“SA Dirt Bikes was an
outstanding customer and Linden deserved a great weekend in WA.
“The
opportunity to reward our outstanding dealer network is something Autofocus is
committed to doing.
“Leatt Brace sales have been increasing all the time
and we are also keen to push other areas of our business including Oakley
Racewear and Chicane Motorsport products.
“Importantly all our products
are of the highest quality and this is of great benefit to the end user.”
