Brisbane-born kiwi Scott Dixon wins Indy 500, Queensland'w Will Power 13th |

Brisbane-born Kiwi Scott Dixon has won the 92nd Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway - a cornerstone event of the IndyCar Series of which Australia's own Gold Coast Indy 300, October 23-26, is a part.
Dixon won the 200 lap, 500 mile race from pole position early this morning and is the first New Zealand citizen to win the iconic race.
Second went to Vitor Meira, third was Marco Andretti and Helio Castroneves and Ed Carpenter completed the top five.
Queensland's Will Power put in a great effort on debut to finish 13th, while Sydney's Ryan Briscoe has been classified 23rd.
