Top British Formula 3 International
team Hitech Racing and Southampton-based Avon Tyres British GT team Brookspeed
Team Trimite have confirmed that their drivers will be making the special trip
to Poole to attend the Dolphin Shopping
Centre’s Pit Shop Roadshow on Thursday 26 June. From Poole
the stars and cars will hotfoot it down to Thruxton to contest the respective
championship rounds at the ultra-fast neighbouring Hampshire circuit, on 28
& 29 June.
As well as rubbing shoulders with
motor racing champions of the future, shoppers can also win tickets to the
Thruxton race meeting in the Dolphin Shopping Centre’s free prize draw. The
winner will also enjoy Grid Walk passes and exclusive behind-the-scenes tours
of the Hitech Racing and Brookspeed Team Trimite pit garages. See details in-centre and post your entry form in

Hitech Racing, the 2007 British
Formula 3 International Champions, has announced that Max Chilton (Reigate),
the series’ youngest ever Formula 3 driver, will be travelling to Dorset to meet and greet shoppers. Max is the younger brother
of BTCC star Tom and last month at Monza became
the youngest ever pole-sitter in the UK’s premier single-seater
championship.
Fresh from its second and latest
victory at Snetterton in Norfolk
at the beginning of June, Brookspeed Team Trimite has confirmed that its Avon
Tyres British GT Championship-leading drivers will be in attendance.
Southampton’s Jon Barnes and James Gornall, from Peterborough, will also join the Hitech
British F3 stars.
The British F3/GT showcase in Poole
marks the second Pit Shop Roadshow to be held in selected Grosvenor Shopping
Centres across the UK,
where the Brookspeed Team Trimite Dodge Viper Competition Coupe will join the
Hitech Dallara F308 Mercedes HWA. The drivers and key personnel from both teams
will be available to chat with shoppers who can get autographs and pose for
photographs with their racing heroes.
With the Scalextric Roadshow
complementing the event, shoppers will no doubt relish the chance to challenge
the professional drivers, who will be appearing from 11.00, on the two
Scalextric Digital tracks.
