"It's behind us now and we're confident of bouncing back this weekend."
Victory at Mallala was Fink's second in the series, having also won on debut in 2006.
Despite
his current championship position, the former World BMX Champion says
he won't be changing his aggressive, risk-taking style.
"We're going to keep the same attacking frame of mind we've had all year," Fink said.
"Everything is working well and it's gotten us to this point, there's no point changing it now.
"We've improved the car even more since our Mallala win; we'll be running some new parts and Toyo tyres.
"The overall package was amazing in testing so I can't wait to unleash it in competition."
2006
Australian Drift Champion Beau Yates (Toyota Racing Developments AE86
Sprinter) and 2007 runner-up Christian Pickering (Senwill Civil Nissan
Silvia) currently sit third and fourth, 164 and 227 points respectively
behind Fine.
With
1000 points on offer in the remaining two rounds, they are well in
championship contention, along with reigning series champion Robbie
Bolger (VIP Petfoods Holden Monaro) in fifth, 265 points behind Fine.
Bolger leads a hungry pack of drivers eyeing a late-season charge into the Top Five.
Just
103 points separate the Irishman and 14th-placed Adam Trewhella (Miluc
Civil Nissan Cefiro), a group which includes defending Eastern Creek
winner Tom Monkhouse (Japanese Motorsport Nissan Silvia) who is seventh.
In
addition to the Toyo Tires Drift Australia Series, the Eastern Creek
program on Saturday and Sunday features the Toyo Tires Super Drift
Series, expression sessions, team Drifting, an Extreme Entry
competition, stunt bikes and a jet car 'flame show'.
Off-track
entertainment includes a Show-n-Shine and a display of the Toyota
Racing Developments village, with the Super 2000 Corolla and Aurion
Tarmac rally cars.
Tickets are $20 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday, with a $40 weekend pass also available, while kids under 12 are free all weekend.
