Points will be allocated to the top eight drivers from the UK with 10 points for the first British driver past the chequered flag, 8 points for the second, 6 for third down to 1 point for the eighth British driver.  There are extra points for setting the fastest laps in each class and National Class drivers can also gain an extra point for each place they finish inside the top 10 overall.

The points from the first 10 races of the 22 race series have been allocated and Oliver Turvey is the current leader, 23 points ahead of Max Chilton and 37 ahead of Andy Meyrick.

How the points are allocated

1^st British driver past the chequered flag = 10 points

2^nd British driver past the chequered flag = 8 points

3^rd British driver past the chequered flag = 6 points

4^th British driver past the chequered flag = 5 points

5^th British driver past the chequered flag = 4 points

6^th British driver past the chequered flag = 3 points

7^th British driver past the chequered flag = 2 points

8^th British driver past the chequered flag = 1 point

National Class drivers can earn 1 extra point for every place they finish inside the top 10 overall

10^th = 1 point; 9^th = 2 points; 8^th = 3 points etc

1 extra point is award if a British driver sets the fastest lap in the International Class
