Hungry for a couple of strong results to help his bid to end the season
inside the top three in the driver standings, 16-year-old Daniel travels to
Knockhill confident in the knowledge he has been very competitive indeed this
year at other circuits he has never previously visited.
With that in mind, the Scammonden based racer has high hopes of quickly
adapting to the demands of the rollercoaster-like Scottish track for what could
turn out to be two crucial Ginetta Junior encounters in terms of the
championship battle.
“Knockhill will be a totally new experience for me but I’m confident it
shouldn’t take us long to adapt to the track and hopefully we’ll be able to
qualify on the first couple of rows, that would be an ideal start”, commented
Daniel.
“It would be fantastic to get back on the podium next weekend and although
we always aim high, if we can achieve two solid finishes in the top four places
it’ll be a job well done. Of course, I always want to win every time I’m on
track but without any prior experience of Knockhill we’re being realistic.
Hopefully it’ll go really well.”
