The
build-up to the 2009 Autosport International, Europe’s largest
motorsport show, is already well underway five months before the
exhibition opens.
The
show, with its dedicated trade area, dynamic Live Action arena as well
as the renowned Autosport central stage, is set to once more break all
records when it opens in January. A star-studded line-up of visitors
have been invited from the world of Formula 1 as well as many other
forms of motorsport, together with the sport’s most exciting racing
cars.
The
Autosport International Show has a history of spectacular innovation
and great value for money, with several special features and
exhibitions designed to allow motorsport fans to get as close as
possible to all the cars and action. In the past, there have been
recreations of a real F1 pit-lane, a mock-up of the Monaco Grand Prix
grid, a collection of priceless Ferraris, and a celebration of 50 years
of the British Touring Car Championship. Special guests have included
Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard and Jenson Button to name but a few.
Next
year’s 19th running of the show promises a fresh look with a new layout
that will see visitors enter directly in front of the all important
Autosport Stage. The usual array of teams, drivers and manufacturers
will be appearing there throughout the four-day show and make exciting
announcements about their plans for the year ahead. Nearly 100,000
visitors are expected to attend the show, which marks the real
beginning of the 2009 season for everyone.
One
of the best ways to experience the thrill of motorsport is at the
now-legendary Live Action arena, which features a raft of improvements
for 2009 and an even more spectacular range of demonstrations, as well
as some breathtaking wheel-to-wheel racing. With some great
competitions and extravagant stunts, the Live Action Arena forms a
showcase of the event.
From
karting to Formula 1, every rung on the international motorsport ladder
is represented: making the Autosport International Show a must for
every enthusiast. There will be the usual opportunities to meet the
drivers and catch up with some shopping at the biggest collection of
motorsport trade and memorabilia stands in the United Kingdom. Whether
you’re a lifelong fan or just have a passing interest in cars and
racing, there’s something for everyone.
Tickets are now on sale, so book early to make sure your motorsport season starts in style.
