Formula Renault UK enthusiasts will have another opportunity to watch Will Bratt’s first ever category race win tonight on ITV1 as part of the Motorsport UK magazine show, the programme scheduled to begin just after midnight at 12.10.
The 18-year-old, from Adderbury in Oxon, earned a popular maiden single-seater victory at Oulton Park in May during the fourth round of the season, having secured his first ever front row start the previous day after a terrific qualifying performance.
The result also marked only the second ever series win for Loughborough-based Scorpio Motorsport, the team having last won a round during the 2000 season.
Will’s terrific Formula Renault UK success at Oulton Park was also his first race victory in any category since his dominant championship-winning season in the BRSCC T-Car Championship in 2004.
Don’t forget to set your VCR or DVD recorders for 12.10 tonight in order to re-live the maiden Formula Renault UK race victory of one of Britain’s most promising young racing drivers.
