In addition to the sensational prize of a World Series by Renault test being provided by Comtec Racing to the overall winner of the Martin Donnelly Trophy at Kirkistown on the 26th. August, James Beckett the organiser of the Silverstone based Walter Hayes Trophy, has pledged two free entries to participants in the Irish FF1600 Festival.
With the winner getting what has been described as `the greatest prize everoffered to a club racing event in this country`, a free days testing at Donington Park in one of Contac’s current 3.5 World Series by Renault Cars, the Heat Winners will now also have the major incentive of free entries to the Walter
Hayes Trophy Meeting on the 3-5 November 2006.
The Walter Hayes Trophy is regarded as the premier FF1600 meeting in the world, attracting over 150 entries to the end of season finale at the `home of British motorsport`.

Cross channel competitors will benefit from the concessionary ferry crossings arranged by Nutt Travel on any of the Stenna HSS or Lynx crossings or the conventional ferries crossing to Ireland. FF1600 entrants can avail of these cheap fares on the Belfast / Stranraer, Holyhead / Dun Laoghaire, and Rosslare / Fishguard routes. Free Testing for Cross Channel Visitors.
Cross channel competitors will be able to avail of a free Test Session
at the Kirkistown Track on Thursday afternoon , the 24th. August.
Additional testing will be available on the 25th August from 11.00 to
6.00pm. at the normal rate of £110.
