BRETT STEVENS TO HELP CELEBRATE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF H.O.G. PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 30 September 2008
Drag Racing and motorcycle legend Brett ’The Boss’ Stevens will be joining over 2000 Harley Davidson enthusiasts from all over Australia to help celebrate the 25th year of the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).

This year’s annual Australian H.O.G. rally will be held this weekend (3rd–5th October) in one of the most beautiful locations in Australia – Lennox Head, NSW, with a record attendance anticipated.

Stevens will be present at the event as a special guest with his Drag Racing team on display which will include his Australian Championship winning 800 horsepower Nitro Harley Top Bike.

In addition he will also be bringing out his infamous 2500 horsepower Jack Daniel’s Racing Burnout Ute to lay down some rubber and make plenty of noise for the fans.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend, I have a long association with Harley Davidson’s as they are where I first started my career as an apprentice motorbike mechanic,” Stevens said.

“It’s a big milestone for HOG to reach and I am happy that I have the opportunity in my schedule to make the trip down to attend and help them celebrate.”

“As well as my team display, visitors will also get to see my Jack Daniel’s Burnout Ute in action as I make plenty of smoke and noise tearing through a couple of sets of Drag Racing slicks each day.”

Stevens is one of the county’s leading Drag Racers and operates the world’s largest team with 10 Group One race vehicles.

He is also the only person in the world to compete in three professional Drag Racing brackets simultaneously (Top Doorslammer, Top Bike and Top Alcohol) and some of his recent Drag Racing accomplishments include winning the 2008 Australian Top Alcohol Championship, the 2005 Australian Top Bike Championship and the 2004 Australian Top Doorslammer, inductee into the Australian Motorcycle Hall of Fame, past holder of Australia’s quickest and fastest Harley record, as well as various other records and titles.
