The no.13 Courage has now retired due to a gearbox problem at Mulsanne. The no.12 Courage has had a trip into a gravel trap and another pit stop to check for several small problems but is back out on track, although down in the order as a result. The ADVAN GT2s are having a much better time. Seikel Motortsport is leading the class and has had a smooth race so far. Team Taisan ADVAN is improving position and is now 5th in class.

Pierre Ehret in the Seikel car (no. 83) handed over to Dominik Farnbacher who was full of praise for the tyres.
