Race Bulletin 1
The start of the Le Mans 24 Hours has been just as hoped for the ADVAN GT2 runners. Unfortuntely the No.13 Courage lost places with a stop-go penalty but then having recovered to 6th place suffered an electrical problem. The car is currently out on the circuit and the team is hoping that it can make it back to the pits for repairs. The No. 12 Courage has also had an exhaust problem and had a lengthy pit stop but is back on track but is now several laps behind the leaders. The GT2 Porsches of Seikel Motorsports and Team Taisan ADVAN are settling into race running with four of the twenty four hours ticked off the list. The temperature at the start of the race was in the region of 27 degrees and the next few hours will see cooling and the chance for cars to run the tyres for more stints.
