LONGHURST TO PARTNER OWEN IN AUTOBARN RACING’S ENDURANCE RACE ASSAULT

VETERAN V8 Supercar driver and twotime Bathurst 1000 winner Tony Longhurst has been announced as Steve Owen’s codriver in the Autobarn Racing Commodore for the Sandown and Bathurst endurance classics.
Longhurst, who won Bathurst in 1988 and 2001 and will be making his 24 th start at Mount Panorama this year, hasn’t driven on a fulltime basis since 2004.
However, his endurance racing experience has prompted team owner Rod Nash to sign the Queenslander alongside Owen.
