YOKOHAMA ADVAN TEAMS TO BATTLE IT OUT IN GERMANY Almost a third of the way through this year’s FIA World Touring Car Championship calendar, and pressure is mounting on the manufacturers to grab points and wins. So far the tally is one win each to Chevrolet and Alfa Romeo, with the main battle being between BMW and SEAT. The German marque has won three races compared to SEAT’s one, but the Spanish manufacturer is still leading the championship with 80 points to BMW’s 69. So it’s all to play for at Oschersleben this weekend (June 3rd/4th), but precedent favours the home team |
