WORLD CHAMPION TO MEET RENAULT UK’S YOUNG BRITISH DRIVERS
Damon Hill will be Renault Sport UK’s guest of honour at the Thruxton rounds of the Formula Renault UK with Michelin and ELF Renault Clio Cup championships on Sunday, 4th June. Hill won the 1996 Formula One World Drivers Championship driving a Williams Renault FW18 and will offer the benefit of his experience to some of the hottest British motor racing prospects competing in the series.
With a single-seater career spanning 26 years, the last eight spent in Formula One, the 45-year-old has a wealth of experience on which to draw. But, in typically understated fashion, Hill said he will not be giving advice to those who don’t ask.
