Nathan Freke - Donington Park
Kidderminster motor racer Nathan Freke will be in action this weekend at Donington Park, in rounds 3 and 4 of the National Formula Ford Championship.
After his super performances at rounds 1 and 2 which left him in 2nd place in the title race, Nathan is hoping to go one better this time.
Freke, teamleader for champion squad, Jamun Racing, was less than two-tenths of a second in arrears of Peter Dempsey in both opening rounds. He has no plans to be behind his rival this time.
"My aim is victory - it has to be," says Nathan. "I am out to prove that this year is not all about Peter Dempsey. Oulton Park gave me a big confidence boost, and I am going to Donington with a very positive outlook."
Freke, 22 and from Kidderminster, has already tested well at the Derby circuit in his Newnet sponsored French-built Mygale.
The race schedule for the weekend is qualifying on Saturday morning, race 1 Saturday afternoon, race 2 Sunday morning.
In addition, rounds of the British Formula 3 championship and the GT car championship will also take place over the weekend.
